An Indian worker lost his life, and three others were injured in a drone attack in the Moscow region on Sunday, as confirmed by the Indian Embassy in Russia. The Embassy officials visited the site and met with the injured workers at the hospital. They expressed condolences for the loss of life and are collaborating with the company management and local authorities to provide necessary support.

Ukraine’s President, Vladimir Zelensky, justified Ukraine’s recent strikes in Moscow, stating that they were in response to Russia’s actions. Following a brief ceasefire from May 8 to May 11, Russia and Ukraine resumed attacks. The Russian Ministry of Defence announced the continuation of a “special military operation” after the ceasefire ended.

Accusing Kyiv of over 30,000 ceasefire violations during the ceasefire period in the “special operation zone,” Moscow emphasized the need for further actions. Dmitry Peskov, the Russian President’s Press Secretary, mentioned progress in the peace process but cautioned against premature discussions on specific timelines or objectives.
