Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that Iran is prepared to confirm to the world its lack of interest in nuclear weapons, emphasizing that Iran does not seek turmoil in the region, attributing such actions to the Zionist regime. Pezeshkian highlighted the government’s focus on ensuring the well-being of its citizens, with officials diligently addressing people’s needs despite challenges. He reiterated Iran’s commitment to peace, denouncing the Israeli regime for regional destabilization efforts during recent talks with the United States.
In a meeting with managers of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), Pezeshkian emphasized that all decisions in Iran are made within the framework of the Supreme National Security Council and under the guidance of the Supreme Leader. Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, speaking in New Delhi, expressed optimism about diplomatic progress between the US and Iran, hinting at positive developments concerning the Strait of Hormuz in the near future. Rubio reaffirmed President Trump’s stance that Iran must never acquire nuclear weapons.
