Iran’s exiled crown prince, Reza Pahlavi, called on the international community to intervene against Iran’s ruling establishment, stating that the country is on the brink of collapse. Pahlavi, speaking in Washington, described the current situation in Iran as a battle between occupation and liberation, emphasizing the regime’s brutal tactics against civilians.
Pahlavi accused the regime of widespread violence, claiming that over 12,000 Iranians were killed in just 48 hours. He highlighted the regime’s ruthless actions, including hunting down wounded protesters in hospitals and forcing families to pay for the bullets used to kill their loved ones.
Despite the regime’s crackdown, Pahlavi asserted that its grip on power is weakening, likening it to a wounded animal. He outlined six steps for the international community to take, including protecting civilians, imposing economic pressure, and ensuring unrestricted internet access in Iran.
Pahlavi also called for the diplomatic isolation of Tehran, the release of political prisoners, and emphasized that supporting the Iranian people is crucial for global stability. He stressed that the regime’s downfall is inevitable, but swift international action could save lives.
