Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has initiated the fifth phase of Operation True Promise 4, targeting American vessels in the Indian Ocean region. The IRGC reported that a vessel carrying ammunition for American ships was struck by drones at Jabel Ali anchorage, rendering it inoperable due to severe damage and explosions. Additionally, the IRGC disclosed that a US naval base in Kuwait was hit by ballistic missiles and drones, resulting in the destruction of key infrastructure and casualties among American personnel.
The IRGC also confirmed that an Iranian missile attack targeted an American refueling tanker ship in the Indian Ocean. The Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy pledged to maintain readiness against enemy forces, aligning with the aerospace unit’s actions. Moreover, the IRGC vowed to avenge the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, promising a forceful response against the US and Israel, labeling it as the “most ferocious offensive operation in history.”
In response to Khamenei’s death, the IRGC emphasized its commitment to seeking retribution for the Supreme Leader’s killers. The Iranian Cabinet echoed this sentiment, warning that the perpetrators of the attack will face severe consequences. The demise of Khamenei, attributed to a joint US-Israeli assault, has triggered significant unrest in the region, with Iran vowing to retaliate against those responsible for the attack.
