Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, during a press conference with PM Narendra Modi, highlighted the significance of “Parishram” (hard work) in fostering strong India-Italy relations. She praised the Indian proverb “Parishram hi safalta ki kunji hai” (hard work is the key to success) as a guiding principle for bilateral success.

Expressing gratitude to PM Modi, Meloni anticipated a new chapter in bilateral ties, emphasizing commitment and resolve in the countries’ partnership. PM Modi’s recent five-nation tour showcased India’s global influence and the cultural impact of Hindi expressions on world leaders.

In a separate instance, Icelandic PM Kristrun Frostadottir admired the Hindi word “Sambandh” (connection) used by PM Modi during the India-Nordic Summit. Frostadottir emphasized the importance of fostering connections, echoing Modi’s call for deeper bonds and shared prosperity among nations.

PM Modi, reflecting on the linguistic connection, highlighted the shared meaning of ‘sambandh’ across Nordic languages and Hindi. He urged for enhanced collaboration between India and the Nordic region for mutual growth and sustainability.
