Jaipur Lok Sabha MP Manju Sharma highlighted the historical roots of women’s reservation in politics, tracing it back to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s initiatives. She underscored the significance of the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, ensuring 33% reservation for women in legislative bodies for their active involvement in governance and decision-making processes.

Speaking at the Nari Shakti Vandan Women’s Conference, MP Manju Sharma encouraged women to support the legislation through active participation. She mentioned Prime Minister Modi’s belief in women’s crucial role in national progress and emphasized women’s contributions across various sectors, rooted in India’s cultural values.
