External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met with Kuwait’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister to discuss enhancing India-Kuwait cooperation. They focused on various areas like energy, trade, defense, and technology. Jaishankar also emphasized the importance of the Indian community’s welfare in Kuwait.
Issues of defense industry cooperation and maritime security were key topics during Jaishankar’s meeting with Kuwait’s Defense Minister. He also interacted with the Indian community in Kuwait, acknowledging their role in strengthening ties between the two nations. Earlier, Jaishankar met with the Crown Prince of Kuwait to review bilateral relations and discuss Gulf developments.
During his visit, Jaishankar expressed gratitude for Kuwait’s support and commitment to advancing cooperation with India. He arrived in Kuwait as part of his tour to bolster bilateral partnerships in the region. Jaishankar also engaged in discussions with Bahrain’s Deputy Prime Minister to explore avenues for enhancing cooperation.
