Veteran actress Jaya Prada recently visited the renowned Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati, Assam. She shared glimpses of her religious excursion on her official Instagram account, donning traditional orange attire for the occasion. Jaya Prada expressed her gratitude for the spiritual experience, seeking blessings of peace, strength, and inspiration from Maa Kamakhya.

In her Instagram post, Jaya Prada conveyed her wishes for universal happiness and prosperity, seeking the goddess’s blessings for all. The Kamakhya Temple, located in the Nilachal hills of Guwahati, is dedicated to the goddess Kamakhya and hosts the Ambubachi Mela, an annual festival commemorating the goddess’s menstruation.

Apart from her temple visit, Jaya Prada is set to feature in the upcoming film “JAI HIND JAI SIND – A Love story,” directed by Indrajit Lankesh. The movie, produced by Sammy’s Entertainment, promises a narrative set against the cultural backdrop of Sindh, exploring themes related to India’s Partition and the Sindhi community’s experiences.
