Bihar’s ruling party, Janata Dal-United, dismissed statements made by RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav regarding Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s autonomy. Tejashwi Yadav suggested that Nitish Kumar could be influenced, implying he might become a mere figurehead under BJP’s control. In response, JD-U’s national Spokesperson emphasized Nitish Kumar’s unwavering decision-making over his five-decade-long public career.

Nitish Kumar, who recently filed his Rajya Sabha nomination, has been praised by JD-U as a transformative leader who has significantly impacted Bihar’s development in the last twenty years. The party lauded his vision and credited him for the state’s progress in various sectors, attributing Bihar’s current status as a developing state to his governance.

Describing Nitish Kumar as the “Vishwakarma of modern-day Bihar,” JD-U expressed confidence in his future endeavors in the Rajya Sabha. The party highlighted his past contributions in both state and national legislatures, emphasizing his commitment to Bihar’s growth and development. Nitish Kumar’s dedication to the state’s progress was reaffirmed by JD-U, assuring continued guidance for Bihar’s advancement.
