The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has decided to postpone the 14th Combined Civil Services Main Examination-2025 until further notice. This decision also extends to all upcoming exams listed in the Examination Calendar-2026. The move comes as the CID investigates alleged irregularities in the 14th Combined Civil Services Preliminary Examination results.
The Controller of Examinations at JPSC issued an order on Wednesday evening, citing unavoidable circumstances for the postponement of the Combined Civil Services Main Examination-2025 under Advertisement No. 01/2026. Additionally, all other exams planned under the Examination Calendar-2026, released on July 9, will be put on hold until further instructions. Amid the controversy surrounding the Preliminary Examination results, a joint team of the CID and Ranchi Police conducted raids at eight locations, including the JPSC headquarters and the office of TSDPL (TSR Data Processing Private Limited), the agency responsible for conducting the examination. Following the raids, eight individuals were detained for questioning. Investigators seized various electronic devices like computers, CPUs, laptops, and documents for forensic examination to probe allegations of digital tampering and irregularities.
