The event kicked off with an action-packed first day featuring around 40 matches in both girls’ and boys’ categories. The championship, operating on a League-cum-knockout basis, will culminate with semifinals on January 3 and finals on January 4.

Around 1000 athletes are actively participating in the Junior nationals, supported by 180 staff members and 100 technical officials to ensure the smooth running of the championship. The inaugural ceremony was graced by former Minister H.
