Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao criticized the Congress government and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for allegedly damaging the progress achieved in Telangana. He highlighted the rise in land values in Hyderabad to Rs 150 crore per acre under BRS policies.
Rama Rao also blamed the Congress government for reversing development in Palamuru district, leading to distress and migration. He accused the government of neglecting key irrigation and development projects initiated during the BRS regime, with only 10% completion in two years of Congress rule.
The BRS leader, popularly known as KTR, emphasized that the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Project saw significant progress under the KCR government. However, he claimed that the Congress government halted the project by canceling tenders, affecting water allocations and farmers in Telangana.
KTR announced that former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) is gearing up to protect the Palamuru–Rangareddy project and support farmers. He criticized the Congress for alleged failures in governance, stating that progress and prosperity would be restored under a KCR-led government.
