New Zealand cricket legend Kane Williamson, who recently retired from international cricket, will now take on the role of batting coach for the Manchester Super Giants in the upcoming men’s edition of The Hundred. Williamson, who was previously associated with the Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL as a strategic advisor, will now bring his expertise to the Manchester team. Despite not playing for Lucknow in the IPL, where he spent 10 seasons, Williamson’s coaching stint with Manchester is eagerly anticipated.
With an impressive record of over 18,000 international runs, including more than 9,000 in red-ball cricket for New Zealand, the 35-year-old cricketer is also set to release his autobiography later this year.
