Actress Karisma Kapoor, during her appearance on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, disclosed the identity of the most frugal person in the Kapoor family. When asked by host Kapil Sharma if her father, Randhir Kapoor, was the ‘Kanjus Kapoor’, Karisma shared that her father is very particular about spending money. Randhir explained his frugal mindset by emphasizing the value of money.
Karisma further revealed that her father is not keen on shopping, even during trips abroad. She humorously narrated instances where he returned with only essentials like socks and handkerchiefs. Despite her encouragement to splurge on himself, Randhir remains content with minimal purchases, emphasizing the simplicity of his needs.
Reflecting on Randhir’s career, he started as a child artist in “Shree 420” and later ventured into acting and directing with “Kal Aaj Aur Kal” in 1971. His journey included notable films like “Jeet” (1972), “Jawani Diwani” (1972), “Raampur Ka Lakshman” (1972), and “Haath Ki Safai” (1974), among others.
