Karnataka BJP President and MLA B.Y. Vijayendra criticized the Congress government for celebrating three years in office, citing misgovernance and corruption under its rule. Vijayendra questioned the government’s decision to mark the occasion amid allegations of administrative collapse and financial challenges in the state.
Vijayendra highlighted issues such as rising debt, lack of development works, and a strained treasury, accusing the government of prioritizing advertisements over essential infrastructure projects. He expressed concerns about the impact of the government’s policies on the future generation of Karnataka, emphasizing delays in payments to contractors and inadequate infrastructure development.
The BJP leader also criticized the Congress government’s guarantee schemes, labeling them irregular and politically motivated rather than welfare-oriented. He further accused the government of burdening citizens with price hikes on essential goods and failing to address financial mismanagement and corruption effectively.
Vijayendra raised concerns about the deteriorating law and order situation in Karnataka, pointing out a rise in criminal activities such as riots, drug networks, and violent incidents. He criticized the government for allegedly neglecting public safety and allowing criminals to operate with impunity, leading to a sense of insecurity among the populace.
