The Karnataka Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has stated that it will uncover those responsible for cross-voting in the Legislative Council elections. Senior BJP leader R. Ashoka expressed satisfaction with the victory of party candidates Lingaraj Patil and Raghu Kautilya. Ashoka mentioned that three votes crossed over and one was invalidated, promising a thorough examination within the party.

Karnataka BJP President B.Y. Vijayendra announced an internal review into the reported cross-voting during the elections. Despite the Congress benefiting from cross-voting, BJP candidates Lingaraj Patil and Raghu Kautilya secured seats in the Council. Vijayendra highlighted the need for a detailed investigation to determine accountability and reasons behind the voting discrepancies.

Several BJP leaders, including MLAs and district presidents, attended the event where the victorious candidates were felicitated. The BJP intends to scrutinize the voting irregularities closely and hold those deviating from the party line accountable for their actions.
