Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah highlighted a significant rise in the tiger population, especially in the Mysuru region. He mentioned issuing directives for capturing and moving these animals to other forest areas in response to recent tiger sightings near Mysuru Airport.

As the number of tigers has surged, combing operations are underway, with arrangements being made to transfer them to different forest regions. A meeting with Forest Department officials is scheduled to address this issue on Tuesday, the Chief Minister informed.

When asked about a potential cabinet reshuffle, Siddaramaiah expressed readiness for discussions with Rahul Gandhi, indicating a possible move in January. He also mentioned the commencement of groundwork for his 17th budget presentation post the Sankranti festival.

Regarding the Ballari clash investigation, Siddaramaiah stated a potential discussion with the Home Minister about possibly involving the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). He emphasized waiting for the police probe to reveal the truth behind the incident.
