Kashi Vishwanath Dham Temple in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, hosted a ‘Phool Holi’ event, allowing devotees to enjoy the festival in a traditional and spiritually enriching setting.
The flower-themed celebrations took place at Shankaracharya Chowk within the temple complex, attracting a large gathering of devotees eager to participate in the festivities.
In addition to the flower showers, the event featured cultural performances such as bhajans, Holi songs, and traditional presentations, enhancing the festive ambiance, as per officials.
Temple authorities, in collaboration with law enforcement and other relevant bodies, urged devotees to ensure a peaceful, secure, and respectful celebration environment.
Temple’s Chief Executive Officer, Vishwabhushan Mishra, mentioned that the eco-friendly ‘Phool Holi’ involved devotees playing Holi with flowers that had fallen on the ground, emphasizing the joy and eco-conscious aspect of the event.
Devotees expressed their happiness and spiritual fulfillment participating in the ‘Phool Holi’ celebrations, highlighting the joy, peace, and prosperity associated with the festival.
Stringent security measures were implemented, with security personnel, including the Central Reserve Police Force and private security agencies, overseeing the premises and monitoring entry and exit points via CCTV surveillance.
