Director and actor Kasthuri Raja, father of Tamil star Dhanush, shared that Dhanush was not initially keen on entering the film industry. Despite being part of several movies, Dhanush expressed his desire to quit until his fifth or sixth film. Kasthuri Raja mentioned that only Selvaraghavan, Dhanush’s elder brother, willingly embraced a career in cinema.
Kasthuri Raja emphasized the importance of education and revealed that he discouraged his children from pursuing a career in cinema. He narrated an incident where Selvaraghavan expressed his wish to enter the film industry during his college years. Despite this, Kasthuri Raja convinced Selvaraghavan to complete his education before venturing into cinema.
Speaking at the pre-release event of ‘Love Oh Love’, where his grandson Pavish stars, Kasthuri Raja praised the film’s team for their unity and dedication. He commended the producers, director, and actors for their collaborative efforts, highlighting the seamless progress of the movie from inception to release.
