Kerala BJP leader Anil Antony criticized the Congress and CPI-M for engaging in “vote bank politics” before the upcoming Assembly election. He pointed out the alliance between the two parties at the national level, calling it a strategy for gaining votes. Antony highlighted instances of the CPI-M and Congress being in alliances in various states across India.
Antony emphasized that both parties were accusing each other of collaborating with the BJP for political gains. He mentioned statements made by Congress MP K.C. Venugopal and Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, labeling them as part of vote bank politics. Antony accused the Congress and CPI-M of causing confusion in Kerala ahead of the polls.
The BJP leader underscored his party’s focus on development-oriented narratives for the state elections. He contrasted this with the CPI-M and Congress, whom he accused of emphasizing communalism and creating uncertainty among voters. Antony stated that the BJP’s goal is to become the leading party in Kerala and prevent the CPI-M and Congress from coming to power.
