In a move to foster party unity, Satheesan praised General Secretary K.C. Venugopal and campaign committee chairman Ramesh Chennithala for the UDF’s success. He emphasized the importance of collective leadership and public involvement in governing Kerala, stating that a collaborative approach is essential to address the state’s challenges. Satheesan vowed to fulfill all major promises made by the UDF during the election campaign.
Satheesan pledged to bring about a positive change in public life through his government, viewing the Chief Minister’s role as a divine duty. He defended the process leading to his appointment, highlighting extensive consultations with legislators and senior party members. Regarding the cabinet formation and swearing-in ceremony, Satheesan mentioned that decisions would be made in consultation with party leaders and allies.
