Vehicle finance company Kotak Mahindra Prime Limited (KMPL) has named Suraj Rajappan as the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer for a three-year term starting June 1, 2026. The current MD and CEO, Shahrukh Todiwala, will retire on May 31, 2026, after more than three decades with the Kotak Group.
Rajappan, who has 24 years of experience across various functions within KMPL, started his career with the company. KMPL operates as a subsidiary of Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited.
Ashok Vaswani, MD and CEO of Kotak Mahindra Bank, expressed confidence in Rajappan’s industry expertise and leadership skills, stating that he is well-positioned to lead KMPL into its next growth phase.
