Actor Kunal Kapoor, feeling uninspired by available roles, has taken matters into his own hands by writing three scripts encompassing action, romance, and comedy. Sharing his scripts on social media, he expressed the challenge of finding the right collaborators for his projects. Additionally, he hinted at a fourth script idea that is already brewing in his mind.
Kunal Kapoor, known for his diverse talents including being a trained pilot and his background in rally and Formula 3 racing, began his career as an assistant director. Making his acting debut in the 2004 film “Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities,” he portrayed the character Nawab, a writer grappling with a creative block until he meets an unconventional muse named Meenaxi. Subsequently, he gained recognition for his role in the acclaimed movie “Rang De Basanti” alongside Aamir Khan.
Throughout his career, Kunal has appeared in a variety of films such as “Aaja Nachle,” “Laaga Chunari Mein Daag,” “Bachna Ae Haseeno,” “Don 2,” “Dear Zindagi,” and “Gold,” showcasing his versatility as an actor. Recently, he starred in the film “Ek Din,” directed by Sunil Pandey, where he shared the screen with Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan. The movie, a remake of the 2016 Thai film “One Day,” narrates the story of Dinesh, who harbors unspoken feelings for his colleague Meera.
