Actor-filmmaker-musician Kunal Kemmu has unveiled his latest track, “Nindiyan,” drawing inspiration from his genuine experiences as a parent. The song, born out of quiet and heartfelt moments, reflects the purity of comforting one’s child and nurturing aspirations for their future. Initially crafted as a lullaby for his daughter, Inaaya, the track has evolved into a poignant musical piece while preserving its emotional essence.
Kunal’s collaboration with Universal Music India for “Nindiyan” marks a shift towards a more intimate and emotionally profound musical expression. The song, rooted in tenderness, encapsulates the universal sentiment of a parent soothing their child, interwoven with hopes and dreams. With evocative visuals of night skies and the tranquil transition into slumber, “Nindiyan” strikes a balance between personal anecdotes and universal themes.
Apart from his musical endeavors, Kunal recently ventured into directing with “Madgaon Express” in 2024, featuring a diverse cast. His latest project, the Netflix series “Single Papa,” showcases a heartwarming tale of Gaurav Gehlot, a man-child navigating life post-divorce and sudden parenthood. Upcoming on Prime Video is “Gulkanda Tales,” a web series directed by Raj & DK, where Kunal will share the screen with Pankaj Tripathi and Patralekha in pivotal roles.
