A youth working as a labourer in Jaipur has tragically passed away after being locked inside a restroom and set on fire during a dispute. The incident involved a disagreement between the victim, Hakim Pinjara, and the accused, Hafiz Abdul Rashid, an imam at a local mosque. Eyewitnesses reported that the argument stemmed from Hakim objecting to the imam disposing of leftover food instead of giving it to animals.
On the morning following the dispute, Hakim visited the mosque, where he was allegedly locked inside a restroom by the accused. It is claimed that the imam then poured petrol on Hakim, which had been prearranged, and ignited it, causing severe burn injuries. Despite efforts by villagers to rescue him, Hakim succumbed to his wounds while receiving treatment in Jaipur.
Hakim Pinjara, the victim, had returned to his village from Jaipur for Ramadan and was the primary provider for his family. His untimely death has left his son and daughter, both young adults pursuing their education, in a challenging situation. Authorities are actively searching for the accused, who fled the scene, and have heightened security measures in the village to ensure peace and order.
