Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla urged officials to focus on solutions and ensure accountability in addressing public grievances promptly. In a meeting in Kota, he reviewed various departments’ operations and progress in the Kota-Bundi region. Birla stressed the importance of instilling public confidence by promptly addressing citizens’ concerns.
He directed departments to streamline grievance redressal processes, enhance water infrastructure, and expedite water supply projects. Birla also instructed officials to deliver birth and death certificates directly to citizens’ homes and resolve related applications within 48 hours.
Moreover, he highlighted the necessity of identifying marginalized individuals in rural areas for government benefits. Birla called for enhanced monitoring of civic complaints and the establishment of sub-offices for public services in different areas.
