The 77th Republic Day was joyously observed in Madhya Pradesh, with citizens across the state proudly hoisting national flags. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav led the celebrations by unfurling the flag at the Shipra River in Ujjain and overseeing the parade. Various government departments showcased vibrant tableaux, and school children presented cultural performances.
The event featured colorful displays, including dog squad parades, folk dances, and tableaux highlighting projects like the bullet train and air ambulance services. Chief Minister Yadav commended the people on Republic Day, emphasizing the growing sense of patriotism and India’s global stature under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He highlighted the government’s focus on the development of marginalized groups and announced initiatives for farmer welfare.
Yadav announced the upcoming celebration of 2026 as the Year of Farmer Welfare, noting a significant increase in the budget for agriculture and allied sectors. Cabinet Ministers and political leaders from various parties also participated by hoisting flags in their respective districts and offices.
