Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has instructed officials to ensure that a maximum number of eligible farmers benefit from government welfare schemes through direct outreach. He emphasized the importance of effectively implementing schemes to reduce farming costs, increase farmers’ income, and promote sustainable agriculture practices.
Yadav highlighted the need to connect eligible farmers to government schemes through direct engagement and encouraged the cultivation of low-water-consuming and organic crops. He also directed officials to focus on improving agricultural productivity and expanding dairy infrastructure to support farmers.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of promoting high-breed cows for milk production and expanding dairy centers in rural areas. He also reviewed the digitization of cooperative society processes and urged timely implementation of online services like the Kisan Credit Card portal and e-passbook facility.
In addition, preparations for the Vegetable Festival and Aquaculture Marketing Symposium in Indore were discussed, with officials instructed to ensure their successful organization. Agriculture Minister Aidal Singh Kanshana and senior officials briefed the Chief Minister on various programs under the Farmers’ Welfare Year-2026 campaign.
