Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed deep sorrow over a tragic house fire in Kasihwa village, Sidhi district, where three young children lost their lives. The Chief Minister offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and assured them of the state government’s support during this difficult time. He announced a financial aid package to assist the family in dealing with the loss.
The Madhya Pradesh government declared a financial assistance of Rs 6 lakh for the family of the deceased children. This aid comprises Rs 2 lakh from the state government and Rs 4 lakh from the MP Poorv Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Limited. Moreover, the District Red Cross Society provided immediate relief of Rs 20,000 to the family, and the district administration offered funeral assistance of Rs 15,000.
The tragic incident occurred in Kasihwa village when a suspected short circuit near Ramratan Saket’s house led to a devastating fire. The blaze quickly engulfed the house, trapping the three children inside. The victims were identified as Kumari Ghummu alias Sandhya Saket, Riddhi, and Nagendra, aged between one and three years. The parents were not at home during the incident.
