Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav marked his 61st birthday by speaking from the newly established All India Radio station in Ujjain. He emphasized the government’s dedication to ensuring the success of the Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2028 in Ujjain. The Chief Minister’s message, broadcast from 17 other centers in the state, highlighted the state’s progress in balancing cultural heritage and modern development.
Notably, the All India Radio station in Ujjain was inaugurated on November 26, 2025. CM Yadav expressed pride in connecting with the people through the Akashvani center at the Mahakaleshwar Temple. He emphasized the state’s efforts to showcase Sanatan culture globally by making Simhastha 2028 a top-tier event. The government is investing significantly in projects to maintain the cleanliness and flow of the Shipra river, develop riverfronts, and address water scarcity through river-linking initiatives like Ken-Betwa and Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal.
In line with the ‘Farmers’ Welfare Year’ in 2026, the government aims to enhance farmers’ income by expanding irrigation and agricultural mechanization. The preservation of tribal culture is a priority, with Bhagoria being recognized as a state festival and folk celebration. Chief Minister Yadav reiterated the government’s strong stance against Naxalism, emphasizing zero tolerance for disorder in Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Yadav highlighted the state’s leadership in wildlife conservation through ‘Project Cheetah’. He concluded by emphasizing that the journey towards a prosperous Madhya Pradesh is a collective endeavor, supported by his cabinet colleagues and the trust of the people.
