Maharashtra Congress State President Harshvardhan Sapkal criticized Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for his handling of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway ‘Missing Link’ project. Sapkal accused Fadnavis of arrogance and ego, questioning his aggressive defense in the state Assembly following criticism over a recent landslide at the project site.
Sapkal highlighted Fadnavis’s self-praise of building the Missing Link, stating that such narcissism was unnecessary. He expressed concern over the Chief Minister’s attitude, labeling it as arrogance. The Congress leader also criticized Fadnavis for dismissing opposition critics as “witless” and “clueless,” questioning the ruling party’s undemocratic nature.
Taking a dig at Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde for alleged unparliamentary language in the Assembly, Sapkal emphasized the need for dignified discourse. He challenged Fadnavis on corruption allegations in infrastructure projects, proposing a Narco Analysis test to reveal the truth to the public.
