Maharashtra Women secured a convincing victory over Karnataka in the BCCI Women’s Under-23 One Day Trophy Elite 2025–26 final in Ranchi. Batting first, Maharashtra scored 286/8, led by Bhavika Ahire’s impressive 109 runs off 100 balls, supported by Ishwari Sawkar and Ishwari Awasare.
In response, Karnataka was bowled out for 211 as Maharashtra’s bowlers, especially Akshaya Jadhav with 4/39, displayed a disciplined performance. Bhavika Ahire was named Player of the Match and Player of the Tournament for her outstanding contributions.
Maharashtra Women’s win marks their third title in the current season, highlighting their dominance in the BCCI domestic season. The team’s exceptional performance throughout the season underscores the strength and bright future of women’s cricket in Maharashtra.
In the 2025–26 season, Maharashtra has emerged as a top-performing state association in India, winning three BCCI tournaments and finishing as runners-up thrice. This success reflects the depth and consistency of Maharashtra cricket across formats.
