The eagerly anticipated Malayalam action survival thriller ‘Varavu’, directed by Shaji Kailas and starring Joju George, has revealed the character played by Murali Gopy. Olga Productions shared the first look poster of Murali Gopy as Medayil Kochettan on their Instagram, announcing the film’s release on July 16, 2026.
Actress Saniya Iyappan’s character as Lisha was recently disclosed by the film’s makers. Originally set for a June 12 release, ‘Varavu’ was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, with the new release date now confirmed for July 16 this year.
The film’s trailer has heightened expectations, portraying Joju George as Paulson, a murder convict seeking revenge during his parole. The narrative unfolds with intense dialogues and action sequences, promising a gripping and dark revenge drama.
