A 26-year-old man named Ravi died in a commercial building collapse near the Saket Metro Station in South Delhi. Eight individuals, including Saika Khan, Aditya Sharma, Tarun Kumar, Anuj Dikshi, Neelam Yadav, Kshitij Pratap, Aastha, and Vishal, were rescued. The incident involved a four-storey under-construction building in Saidullajab, triggering a large-scale rescue operation.

Rescue efforts, including teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Delhi Police, and civil defence units, were swiftly mobilized. Nine people were found trapped under the debris, with locals and rescue teams managing to save them. While eight survivors are receiving treatment at AIIMS trauma centre, Ravi was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Authorities are actively searching for any remaining individuals stuck in the rubble. The building collapse, which occurred during dinner time at a tin shed canteen, is still under investigation for its cause. Eyewitnesses described the incident happening around 6 p.m. on Saturday, causing shock in the vicinity.
