Posting a picture on Instagram, she expressed her happiness for welcoming the year 2083 with admiration and love. The Nepali New Year, known as Baisakh 2083 in the Vikram Samvat calendar, falls on April 14, 2026.
Manisha Koirala, a Nepalese actress known for her work in Hindi and Tamil films, was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama television series, “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,” released in 2024. The show, set in the red-light district of Heera Mandi in Lahore during the Indian independence movement, depicted the lives of tawaifs amidst political and personal challenges under British colonial rule.
In her acting career, Manisha Koirala was recently featured in the film “Shehzada,” directed by Rohit Dhawan. A remake of the Telugu movie “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo,” the film stars actors like Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, and Ronit Roy alongside Manisha Koirala. With a successful career spanning both Nepali and Indian cinema, the 54-year-old actress remains a prominent figure, having debuted in 1989 with the Nepali film “Pheri Bhetaula” and later in Bollywood with “Saudagar” in 1991.
