Marathi actress Varsha Usgaonkar shared her aspirations for women-empowered roles during the trailer launch event of her upcoming historical drama “Kaun Sahi.” Expressing her desire to portray strong characters like doctors, lawyers, or businesswomen, Varsha emphasized her wish for such roles on screen. She also expressed interest in working on OTT platforms, acknowledging the quality content being produced but mentioned not having found the right role yet due to prior commitments.

Varsha Usgaonkar, along with several others, reportedly fell victim to a scam where a man posing as a builder and film producer duped them of approximately Rs. 47 lakh, as per the Mumbai Police. The accused, Avinash Jadhav, allegedly returned a portion of the money initially to gain trust but later ceased payments. Subsequently, he changed his contact details when the victims attempted to reach out, leading them to confront him in Dombivli. Despite their efforts, the accused refused to return the money and issued threats.
