The measurement of the eight-bigha graveyard near the Jama Masjid in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, is about to start. Administrative preparations are complete, but the actual measurement process has not yet commenced. The land surveyor is expected to arrive soon with other officials before the official measurement begins.
The measurement is being conducted due to complaints of illegal construction on the cemetery land, including around 20 to 25 shops and houses. To prevent any issues, the police administration is on high alert, with a significant deployment of police personnel in and around the cemetery. Entry to the cemetery is restricted for security reasons.
RPF and PAC personnel are stationed at major streets and intersections in the city to maintain law and order. The area has been heavily secured, with over 500 police personnel from eight police stations present. The administration is closely monitoring the locality, ensuring a peaceful and transparent measurement process. Strict action will be taken against anyone causing disturbances or spreading rumors during this time.
