In line with the “Seva Sankalp Resolution,” officials from the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs gathered to commit to the principles of ‘Seva’ or service. The meeting, chaired by Secretary Nikunja Bihari Dhal, emphasized the shift from entitlement to service in public administration. Secretary Dhal stressed the importance of citizen-centric governance, urging officials to work with dedication, integrity, and responsiveness.
Various accomplishments over the past 12 years towards the ‘Viksit Bharat’ goal were reviewed during the meeting. Discussions also centered on reforms in government departments to enhance transparency, accountability, and efficiency in parliamentary and administrative functions. Officials renewed their dedication to ‘Seva’ and citizen-focused governance to realize the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’ outlined in the Resolution.
The Seva Sankalp Resolution, a key mission statement of the Union government, aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for nation-building and serving the country’s 1.4 crore citizens. A similar commitment to the resolution was made in other Central government offices, echoing the ethos of service and governance excellence. The resolution symbolizes PM Modi’s dedication to national service, as seen in initiatives like ‘Seva Parv 2025’ that honor his lifelong commitment to serving the nation.
