The makers of the movie adaptation of “Mirzapur” have announced that the film will hit theaters on September 4. A poster shared by Excel Entertainment reveals a scene in a desert with rugged SUVs, hinting at violence and power struggles. The title “MIRZAPUR” in bold red letters and the release date of “4th September 2026” are prominently displayed.
The movie follows Akhandanand “Kaleen” Tripathi, a crime boss in Mirzapur district, Uttar Pradesh. The main cast includes Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyendu Sharma, and others. The upcoming adaptation introduces new cast members like Jitendra Kumar, Sonal Chouhan, and Ravi Kishan, alongside returning stars.
Produced by Excel Entertainment, the film features core cast members from the series. The shoot was completed on February 1, as shared by actress Shweta Tripathi on social media with a wrap-up picture and a group photo of the cast and crew.
