Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu highlighted the significance of enhancing bilateral trade and investment between India and Israel. They expressed a commitment to integrating advancements in various sectors such as AI, cybersecurity, semiconductors, quantum computing, biotechnology, agriculture, and defense platforms. The partnership aims to drive technological transformation and mutual progress, aligning with India’s vision for 2047.

The leaders recognized the complementary nature of Indian and Israeli capabilities, with Israel known for its technological prowess and innovation while India serves as a hub of talent and entrepreneurial energy. They welcomed the India-Israel Bilateral Investment Agreement signed in 2025 to boost investor confidence and promote two-way investments. Both leaders also affirmed their dedication to realizing a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the two countries.

Modi and Netanyahu appreciated the strategic partnership in the financial-cyber domain, focusing on enhancing the resilience of the financial ecosystem through intelligence exchange and joint simulations. They also discussed enhancing direct air connectivity between Tel Aviv and major Indian cities to elevate bilateral relations. The leaders welcomed initiatives like the India–Israel Financial Dialogue to strengthen financial cooperation.

Acknowledging the success of joint research initiatives, the Prime Ministers agreed to increase contributions to the India-Israel Joint Research Calls. They emphasized the importance of creating institutional support for joint innovation activities and exploring mechanisms to facilitate collaborative R&D initiatives. Modi and Netanyahu also highlighted the strategic importance of Artificial Intelligence and deepened cooperation in this field.

Recognizing the critical role of water and agriculture in sustainable development, both leaders affirmed the importance of strengthening the partnership in these areas. The focus includes water conservation, wastewater treatment for agriculture, desalination, and cleaning rivers using advanced technologies. The collaboration aims to drive progress in the global space sector through joint ventures and knowledge exchange between the space industries of both nations.
