MSMEs are crucial for job creation and economic prosperity in India, as stated by Minister for MSME, Jitan Ram Manjhi. He emphasized the significant contribution of MSMEs to the economy, highlighting their role in strengthening prosperity and driving economic growth after agriculture. Minister Manjhi interacted with MSME beneficiaries during the Republic Day Parade 2026, where he praised the pivotal role played by MSMEs.
The event hosted a diverse group of beneficiaries, including individuals from various schemes like the PM Vishwakarma Scheme, Khadi Vikas Yojana, SRI Fund, and Mahila Coir Yojana. Minister of State for MSME, Shobha Karandlaje, expressed her admiration for the beneficiaries, referring to them as a representation of ‘Mini India.’ She credited the Prime Minister’s leadership for enabling such opportunities and highlighted ongoing efforts to support beneficiaries through training and skill development.
S.C.L. Das, Secretary of the Ministry of MSME, commended the efforts of the beneficiaries, emphasizing the country’s progress due to their contributions. He assured continuous support from the Ministry to help more beneficiaries progress and succeed. The government’s initiatives like the PM Vishwakarma Scheme and the SRI Fund aim to provide comprehensive support to artisans and promote self-reliance among MSMEs.
