Actor Naga Chaitanya, honored with the Telangana government’s Gaddar Film award for Best Actor in 2025 for his role in ‘Thandel,’ expressed gratitude towards the film’s team, the Telangana Chief Minister, and Deputy Chief Minister. Chaitanya, in a heartfelt note, acknowledged the significance of the film’s journey and thanked everyone involved in bringing the heroic story to life.
He specifically appreciated the efforts of the cast and crew of ‘Thandel’ for their contribution to his award. Additionally, he extended his thanks to the Chief Minister of Telangana, the Deputy Chief Minister, a Minister, and the Gaddar film awards committee for the recognition, along with actor Ram Charan for presenting the award. Naga Chaitanya’s father, Nagarjuna, also expressed pride in his son’s achievement and congratulated the other winners of the 2025 Gaddar Awards.
Nagarjuna, a renowned Telugu star, commended the Telangana Government for instituting the ANR Award in honor of his father, Akkineni Nageswara Rao. He further highlighted the deserving recipients of the awards and congratulated veteran actress Jayapradha and Mega star Chiranjeevi for their respective accolades. The Gaddar Film Awards, named after the late revolutionary poet Gaddar, were reintroduced by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to honor excellence in Telugu cinema after a long hiatus.
