The NCC Republic Day Camp hosted cadets from 21 friendly nations as part of the Youth Exchange Programme. These cadets visited the DG NCC Camp and participated in the ‘At Home event’ with Indian cadets. During the visit, they explored the Flag Area, Hall of Fame, India Gate, and National War Memorial to learn about India’s initiatives and the sacrifices of Indian Armed Forces.
In another event, NCC cadets were invited to the ‘At Home’ event at the residence of Lt Gen Virendra Vats, Director General of NCC. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, fostering a friendly interaction between the cadets and officers. The Director General engaged with the cadets, showing keen interest in their experiences and impressions of the RDC-2026, strengthening the bond between leadership and young cadets.
Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi visited the NCC Republic Day Camp, encouraging participants to uphold unity, discipline, and integrity. He commended the NCC cadets for their significant contribution during Operation Sindoor. Admiral Tripathi also praised NCC’s innovative training measures, including drone operations and cyber awareness, emphasizing India’s youth as a global force for good and expressing confidence in their role in shaping Viksit Bharat by 2047.
