The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will hold a Parliamentary Party meeting in New Delhi on Tuesday to discuss the Union Budget 2026 and the vision for Viksit Bharat 2047. Top NDA leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP National President Nitin Nabin, and other ministers and MPs, will attend the meeting. PM Modi is scheduled to address the NDA parliamentary party meeting.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the budget’s features and future vision through a detailed presentation, emphasizing its role in shaping a developed India by 2047. The meeting will also focus on strategies for effectively communicating the budget’s features and advantages to the public, along with outlining a roadmap for this purpose.
Sitharaman recently introduced the Union Budget 2026 in the Lok Sabha, emphasizing three key ‘kartavyas’ or duties aimed at enhancing economic growth, fulfilling aspirations, and ensuring equitable access to resources and opportunities for all. PM Modi praised the budget as a gateway to vast opportunities, stating that it will infuse new vigor into India’s progress and serve as a strong foundation for the nation’s bright future and its journey towards a developed India by 2047.
The budget has been hailed as a “Youth Power Budget” by PM Modi, reflecting the aspirations and energy of young India. It is designed to nurture leaders, innovators, and creators across various sectors, with provisions to establish medical hubs, promote sectors like AVGC and tourism, and create opportunities through initiatives like the Khelo India mission, aiming to empower the youth to excel and lead in diverse fields.
