The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will convene a Parliamentary Party meeting in New Delhi on Tuesday morning to deliberate on the Union Budget 2026 and the vision of a Viksit Bharat 2047. The meeting, scheduled for 9:30 a.m., will see the participation of key NDA leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP National President Nitin Nabin, and other NDA ministers and MPs. PM Modi is set to address the NDA parliamentary party gathering.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will elucidate the budget’s features and futuristic outlook through a presentation, emphasizing its significance in propelling India towards a developed state by 2047. The meeting’s agenda includes outlining strategies for effectively communicating the budget’s features and advantages to the public, along with presenting a roadmap for this purpose.
Sitharaman recently presented the Union Budget 2026 in the Lok Sabha, marking her ninth budget presentation. The budget is guided by three key ‘kartavyas’ or duties aimed at enhancing economic growth, fulfilling aspirations, and ensuring equitable access to resources and opportunities for all families, communities, and regions. PM Modi lauded the budget as a gateway to vast opportunities, expressing confidence that it will infuse fresh vigor into India’s growth trajectory.
The Prime Minister described the budget as a catalyst for realizing aspirations and laying a robust foundation for India’s promising future, aligning with the nation’s journey towards achieving the vision of a developed India by 2047.
