With the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination approaching, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan extended his best wishes to over 20 lakh students nationwide, urging them to face the exams confidently. He also announced that the results of more than 15 lakh students seeking re-evaluation of their CBSE Class 12 board exam marks are prepared and will be released soon.
Addressing the media, Pradhan expressed his confidence in the National Testing Agency (NTA), state governments, district administrations, and the education system, emphasizing his support for the students. He encouraged the examinees to approach the NEET exam without fear, assuring them of success and acknowledging their trust in the education system.
Pradhan cautioned against jeopardizing the future of the youth and urged responsible behavior towards the students. He appealed to individuals not to disrupt the mental well-being of children and emphasized the importance of upholding ethical standards in the examination process. The Education Minister assured that the re-verified marks of around 15.5 lakh students from the CBSE Class 12 board exams are meticulously checked to prevent errors.
In preparation for the exam, the NTA announced the entry schedule for students at the examination centers, with entry starting at 11:00 AM and closing at 1:30 PM. Aspirants were reminded to bring their admit cards, valid photo IDs, and two passport-size photos while refraining from carrying any prohibited items. The agency advised candidates to stay hydrated, plan for traffic, and arrive early at the exam venues.
