Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh has decided to resign as the brand ambassador of the music reality show “Universal Idol” due to payment issues with the organizers, HMC events. Neil revealed on social media that three cheques issued by the organizers had bounced, despite his attempts to address the matter with no success. He expressed disappointment over the breach of trust and commitment.
In a social media post, Neil formally announced his departure from “Universal Idol” and severed ties with HMC events. He emphasized that his agreed payments were not honored, leading to his decision to disassociate from all current and future involvements with the show and its organizers. Neil cautioned others to be vigilant about claims and payment assurances in the industry.
Neil Nitin Mukesh concluded his post by asserting his right to pursue legal remedies in the situation. Meanwhile, his recent work includes the film “Ek Chatur Naar,” a black comedy thriller directed by Umesh Shukla and written by Himanshu Tripathi. The movie features Divya Khossla in a leading role, set in a quirky small-town Indian setting where a woman’s ambition leads to unexpected challenges.
