OTT platform Netflix has released a teaser for its upcoming reality series ‘Lock Upp: Sach ya Sazaa’, showcasing Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh in a mysterious prison setup. The promo introduces Farah as Prisoner No. 06 and Riteish as Prisoner No. 27, showing them in separate cells before a face-to-face encounter. The teaser starts with a serious tone but concludes with playful expressions and a ‘To Be Continued’ message.

Netflix shared the teaser on social media with the caption, “Do khaas mehmaan. Ek Lock Upp.” The show is set to air from June 27 onwards, every Saturday to Wednesday at 8 PM exclusively on Netflix. Although details about the show’s format and contestants remain undisclosed, it is unclear whether Farah and Riteish will have significant roles in the series or if their involvement is limited to the promo.

The upcoming season of ‘Lock Upp’ is highly anticipated following the success of its debut season in 2022. The previous edition, hosted by Kangana Ranaut, garnered significant attention with its prison-themed concept, becoming a popular digital property. Comedian Munawar Faruqui emerged as the winner of the first season, while other participants like Payal Rohatgi, Anjali Arora, Poonam Pandey, and Shivam Sharma made headlines during the show.

Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh have a longstanding connection in the film industry. Riteish, known for his close ties with filmmaker Sajid Khan, Farah’s brother, has appeared in several of his movies, including ‘Heyy Babyy’, ‘Housefull’, ‘Housefull 2’, and ‘Humshakals’.
