In a move to enhance industrial growth and skill development in Bihar, Union MSME Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi and Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary will inaugurate a new Technology Centre in Khizarsarai, Gaya on June 15. The center, funded with Rs 170 crore, aims to bolster the MSME sector in southern Bihar by offering advanced manufacturing facilities, industry-specific skill training, and technology-driven support services to local businesses.
The inauguration ceremony will commence with a traditional Bhoomi Pujan and will be graced by senior officials from the Ministry of MSME and the Bihar government. This Technology Centre is part of a national network of Technology Centres and Extension Centres established by the Ministry to assist MSMEs with cutting-edge manufacturing facilities, skill development initiatives, and business advisory services.

Focusing on sectors like General Engineering, Heavy Engineering, and Textile Testing, the center will cater to the industrial needs of the region, serving MSMEs in Gaya, Aurangabad, Nawada, Nalanda, Jehanabad, and Munger districts.
