The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted light rain in parts of Rajasthan as the New Year approaches. A Western Disturbance is expected to bring light rainfall to northern and western Rajasthan on December 31 and January 1. The districts of the Bikaner division and the Shekhawati region, including Bikaner, Churu, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, and surrounding areas, are likely to experience the rain.

Weather officials anticipate a drop in temperatures due to intensifying cold winds, with the possibility of dense fog in some areas during the first week of January. Director of the Meteorological Centre, Jaipur, Radheshyam Sharma mentioned that cloudy conditions are expected in parts of the Bikaner division and the Shekhawati region on December 31 and January 1. Light rain or drizzle may occur in some places during this period.

Cloudy conditions are expected in various districts on December 31 and January 1, with the likelihood of light rain or drizzle in isolated areas. Night temperatures have significantly decreased across the state, with many cities recording minimum temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius. Cities like Mount Abu, Fatehpur, Karauli, Dausa, Pali, and Sikar have recorded temperatures in the single digits.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that minimum temperatures will remain near normal for the next few days, but cold conditions will persist due to chilly winds.
